Event Management

The secret to success of any championship event is always found in a capable staff for event management. Numerous members of the community will be involved in the project as volunteers under the direction of the following individuals:

• Bowl Game Director: J.D. Ettore
• Game Day Management Director: Bill Kroenke
• Hospitality Committee Chair: Craig Hull
• Selection Committee Co-Chairs: Dick Hedges & Senator Bob Marshall

J.D. Ettore - Bowl Game Director

J.D. Ettore, Fort Scott Community College Athletic Director, will serve as the Citizens Bank Bowl Game Director.

Bill Kroenke - Game Day Management Director

Kroenke currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions at Pittsburg State University. Kroenke will provide the game day management at the stadium with the help of the Pittsburg State University staff.

Craig Hull - Hospitality Committee Chair

Hull is the Director of the Crawford County Convention and Visitors Bureau and will direct the efforts of the CVB staff in ensuring the coordination of hotel space for teams and fans. Additionally, Hull will provide assistance in organization of the Saturday evening banquet.

Dick Hedges & Bob Marshall - Selection Committee Co-Chairs

Dick Hedges, a resident of nearby Fort Scott, is a former President of Fort Scott Community College and currently serves as a member of the Kansas Board of Regents. Bob Marshall, also resident of Fort Scott, is a former Athletic Director of Fort Scott Community College and retired as Marine Corps Fighter Pilot with the rank of Colonel. Most recently, he took the oath of office to become a member of the Kansas State Senate representing the Pittsburg area.
